The seminar on “Anti-Corruption under Rule of Law”, which was hosted by the “Anti-Corruption and Rule of Law Research Center” of “The Key Research Base of Philosophy and Social Science in Colleges and Universities in Jiangsu Province”, undertook by law school of SEU and co-hosted by Commission for Discipline, was held in SEU in May 27th, 2016. About 70 participants attended the meeting, respectively from courts, procuratorates, law firms, Academy of Social Science in Shanghai City, Jinan City and Hunan Province, as well as 15 universities.
The opening ceremony of the seminar was hosted by Lean Liu Yanhong. The deputy secretary of party committee and secretary of committee for discipline in SEU Ren Lijian, former deputy secretary of party committee and secretary of committee for discipline in SEU Liu Jingnan, deputy director of No.2 Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery Bureau of Supreme People’s Procuratorate Li Zhongcheng, deputy director of Procuratorial Theory Institute Xie Pengcheng, inspector of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Procuratorate Fang Xiaolin, deputy secretary of committee for discipline and head of Supervision Division in SEU Wu Rongshun attended the opening ceremony.
The seminar included four units. The closing ceremony was hosted by Assistant-Dean Ouyang Benqi. Professor Yin Ji made some closing remarks and expressed gratitude to all representatives from “Anti-Corruption and Rule of Law Research Center” present at the meeting. The seminar focused on hot and difficult problems about anti-corruption, and finally ended successfully.
