Associate Professor Chen Daoying attended the Constitutional Social Philosophy Forum and the Seminar of "Global Political Ethics: Rights, Democracy and Constitutionalism"

    On June 12, 2017, the associate professor Chen Daoying was invited to attend the Constitutional Social Philosophy Forum and the Seminar of Global Political Ethics: Rights, Democracy and Constitutionalism sponsored by Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.

At the seminar, nearly 20 experts and scholars from the Hong Kong City University, Tsinghua University, Wuhan University, China University of Political Science and Law, Jilin University and other universities focus on A Global Political Morality: Human Rights, Democracy, and Constitutionalism written by professor Michael Perry in the law school of Emory University in the United States. Associate professor Chen Daoying and Professor Perry made the in-depth discussion on whether the judge should conduct moral interpretation of human rights, whether the judiciary should remain modest to the political sector.
