The Seminar on the Civil Code – Personality Rights Law & Contract Law , held by China Civil Law Society and Law School of Wuhan University, was convened in Wuhan on July 15th to 16th. There were more than 60 experts attended the seminar, including professor Wang Liming of Renmin University of China, professor Feng Guo, professor Qin Qianhong, professor Meng Qinguo of Wuhan University, and associate professor Ren Danli of Southeast University.
The experts 'suggestion manuscripts on Personality Rights Law was hoped to be submitted in the end of this year. The seminar concentrated on some hot issues such as how to deal with the relationship between constitutional personality rights and civil personality rights, and how to classify different personality rights. Associate professor Ren Danli, along with other experts focused on the twenty-two questions existed in contract law raised by the Legislative Affairs Commission of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China.
