Professor Liu Yanhong was invited to attend the 4th Sino-Germany Criminal Law Symposium

    The 4th Sino-Germany Criminal Law Symposium was convened in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province from September 9th to 10th. The meeting was hosted by Center of Cooperative Innovation for Judicial Civilization(CCIJC), Guanghua Law School of Zhejiang University, Chinesisch-Deutscher Strafrechtslehreverband(CDSV), and was undertook by Center of Internet Law of Guanghua Law School. More than 60 law experts from dozens of Law School attended the symposium. Professor Liu Yanhong was invited to the meeting, alongwith two doctoral candidates Ji Yang and Wei Chao.

    The symposium focused on “Responsibility Theory in the Information era”(Schuldtheorien in der Informationsgesellschaft), and was divided into 4 units. Professor Liu Yanhong hosted the second unit, which was named “Forbidden Error and Cognition of Illegality”. As a host, professor Liu made brilliant summary and comments on three reporters’ speech.

    The CDSV was established in University of Wuerzburg in September 16th, 2011. The Sino-Germany Criminal Law Symposium was hosted in every two year, respectively in China and Germany. The symposium is an important platform for dialogue between Chinese and German criminal law experts, and the results of the 1st and 2nd symposium were published in China and Germany, which gained huge academic influence.
