Professor Sang Benqian, a famous jurist, hired adjunct professor at Southeast University

    On 8th of June, 2018, President Zhang Guangjun signed a letter of appointment and formally hired the renowned jurist Professor Sang Benqian as an adjunct professor at Southeast University.

  

    Professor Sang Benqian is an adjunct professor of the Prosperity Project of China Ocean University. He is a doctoral tutor and is a famous jurist in China. He was selected by the New Century Talent Support Program of the Ministry of Education as an expert and legal advisor of Shandong Provincial Government. In 2005 and 2008, he was promoted to associate professor and professor respectively. His main research areas are jurisprudence and legal economics. His representative academic achievements include: the fog of theoretical law - using sensational case as material, private monitoring and punishment - an economic approach and other academic monographs. He has published more than 60 academic papers in Chinese Law, Law Study, Chinese Social Science, Legal Science and other magazines, and has been repeatedly reproduced by Xinhua Digest, Chinese Social Science Digest, College of higher learning The full text of the Journal of the Liberal Arts Journal and the Copy of the People's Congress. He presided over a number of national and provincial-level social science fund projects. His work has won the first prize of Outstanding Achievement in Social Sciences in Shandong Province and the Outstanding Achievement Award of the Ministry of Education. He has won the honorary titles such as Top Ten Young and Middle-aged Jurists in Shandong Provinceand Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contributions in Shandong Province.

  

    Professor Sang Benqian being hired as a part-time professor in our school, is of great significance to the construction of first-class teachers in our institute, to improve the level of first-class talents cultivation, and to promote the construction of first-rate disciplines in law. Simultaneously, it will also greatly promote the improvement and rapid development of our jurisprudence major.
