From April 20 to April 22, 2021, Chen Hongbing, professor and doctoral supervisor of Law School of Southeast University, was invited to Jingmen City, Hubei Province to carry out a series of academic lectures with the theme of analysis of difficult problems in the application of key charges, interpretation of criminal law amendment (11) and analysis of difficult problems in the application of property crimes.
From 2:10 p.m. to 6:10 p.m. on April 20, the Public Security Bureau of Duodao District of Jingmen City invited Professor Chen Hongbing to give a special lecture on the application of key crimes. The lecture was presided over by Wu Jun, deputy director of the Management Committee of the high tech Zone and director of the District Public Security Bureau. More than 180 policemen from the Municipal Public Security Bureau, the District Public Security Bureau, the district procuratorate and the district court attended the lecture. Professor Chen Hongbing fully and carefully explained the 12 common difficult crimes in the specific provisions of criminal law, such as fraud, extortion, affray, theft, rape, intentional injury, embezzlement, money laundering and drug trafficking. During the 4-hour lecture, Professor Chen was always full of enthusiasm and actively interacted with the students, causing bursts of applause.
From 10:00 to 12:00 a.m. on April 21, the Public Security Bureau of Shayang County, Jingmen City invited Professor Chen Hongbing to come into the police camp and give you a lecture on interpretation of criminal law amendment (11). Members of the Party committee of Shayang County Public Security Bureau and policemen without duty of the county public security organs listened to the lecture. Professor Chen interprets and analyzes the criminal law clauses added and modified in the criminal law amendment (11) one by one from the aspects of legislative background, content of amendment, protection of legal interests, and specific understanding and application of constitutive requirements. He also analyzes the practical problems of public security organs, and puts forward specific suggestions and opinions. Everyone said that Professor Chen's teaching content is rich and his business guidance is strong.
From 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. on April 21, Jingmen Zhongxiang Public Security Bureau invited Professor Chen Hongbing to give a special lecture on the theme of analysis of difficult problems in the application of property crimes. Members of the home party group of the Municipal Public Security Bureau and the auxiliary police of the city's non service police attended the lecture. Professor Chen analyzed 12 specific charges of property crime, such as theft, robbery, fraud, one by one by combining with judicial cases from four aspects: legal interest, object, classification and number of crimes of property crime, and purpose of illegal possession of property crime. All the auxiliary police officers responded strongly to Professor Chen's lecture, and agreed that the lecture had a strong practical guiding role and gained a lot.
From 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. on April 22, Professor Chen Hongbing was invited to Jingmen people's Procuratorate to conduct a lecture on interpretation of criminal law amendment (11) for more than 300 procurators in the city's procuratorial organs in the form of television and telephone training. During the 3-hour lecture, Professor Chen has always been enthusiastic and energetic, analyzing the legal theory and practical issues involved in the amendment and addition of the criminal law provisions in the criminal law amendment (11). Not only that, Professor Chen also from the perspective of procuratorial practice, to provide you with a unique way of thinking and perspective.
