Recently, according to the Selection Method of Chinese Social Science Citation Index Source Journals (Collected Journals), Southeast Law was selected as a collected journal of CSSCI (2021-2022).
CSSCI is a humanities and social sciences citation index database independently developed by Nanjing University commissioned by the Ministry of Education. It follows the laws of bibliometrics and adopts a combination of quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods to select CSSCI source journals and collected journals, aiming to serve knowledge innovation, frontier research and judgment, and comprehensive evaluation in the field of humanities and social sciences, and to enhance academic influence in Chinese, and is a scientific, objective, fair and equitable high level index system for academic quality evaluation of humanities and social sciences in China at present.
Southeast Jurisprudence (biannual), founded in 2008, is a continuous academic publication founded by Southeast University Law School in 2008, with two series per year, divided into spring and autumn volumes. The first editor-in-chief of the journal is Professor Zhou Youyong and the second editor-in-chief is Professor Liu Yanhong. Mr. Li Buyun, a famous jurist, is the head of the editorial board, and famous jurists Prof. Wang Liming, Prof. Zhang Wenxian, Prof. Shen Sibao, Prof. Chen Xingliang, Prof. Ying Songnian and Prof. Han Dayuan (in order of last name) have been invited to be the academic advisors of the journal.
The journal aims at independent academic research, close tracking of theoretical frontiers, active attention to rule of law practice, and highlighting research characteristics and depth; advocating the exchange of ideas, equal dialogue and criticism, innovative theoretical thinking, and social responsibility in view of reality. The journal aims to build a platform for external academic exchange, highlight the academic research interests of the law school, promote the academic progress of the law school, and focus on the legal characteristics of the southeast region, with Jiangsu as the leader, to promote the prosperity and development of the construction of the rule of law and legal research in the region.

Foreign Legal System, Anti-corruption and Rule of Law, Rule of Law in Internet Governance, Legal Essay, New Book Review , Youth Forum, Practice Forum, Legal Education and Foreign Law Translation Series The editorial team is committed to giving priority to the publication of the journal. The editorial board promises to give priority to the publication of outstanding manuscripts in cross-disciplinary fields such as traffic law, engineering law, medical law, and legal data, and to invite experts in comparative law studies from home and abroad to translate and introduce key legislative texts from abroad from the standpoint of scholarship is the public tool of the world.
The inclusion of Southeast Jurisprudence in the CSSCI Extended Source Collection Catalogue (2021-2022) developed by the China Social Science Research and Evaluation Center of Nanjing University shows that the journal's philosophy and style have been recognized by the academic community, and its academic quality and influence have been recognized by authoritative evaluation institutions. Looking into the future, Southeast Law will continue to clarify the direction, uphold the purpose and philosophy of the journal, adhere to the quality standards, highlight the characteristics, actively create special topics and advantageous column construction, constantly launch high-level academic research results, give full play to the innovation and leading role of academic journals, and strive to run a first-class academic journal!
