On the morning of November 22, 2022, Zhai Dong, a doctoral student of Constitutional and Administrative Law, successfully passed the dissertation defense. The dissertation of the respondent Zhai Dong entered the formal defense stage in strict compliance with the regulations of the Measures for the Whole Process Management of the Quality of Postgraduate Dissertation of Southeast University College of Law.

Professor Wang Taigao of Nanjing University Law School was the chairman of the defense committee, Professor Wang Chunye of Hohai University Law School, Professor Yang Dengfeng, Professor Xiong Zhanglin and Professor Liu Qichuan of Southeast University Law School were the members of the defense committee, and Mr. Zhang Yunhao of Southeast University Law School was the secretary of the defense.

After the chairman of the defense committee announced the defense process and specific rules, the defense officially started. The respondent Zhai Dong defended and elaborated on the background of his doctoral dissertation Administrative Law Reconstruction of China's Engineering Supervision System, his writing ideas and the structure of his article.

The defense committee affirmed the research idea of intersection of engineering and law in the dissertation of the respondent, highly evaluated the results of the dissertation of the respondent, and highly affirmed the construction of engineering law discipline and talent cultivation of Southeast University College of Law. Finally, the defense committee unanimously agreed that the respondent passed the dissertation defense and recommended the selection of university excellent dissertation.
