In order to further implement the mission of Dongda University to establish moral education, focus on the action of Dongda University of students as the first, and deepen the reform of cultivating leading talents, the Law School held a seminar on postgraduate courses in the conference room on the fourth floor on December 1, 2022. Vice Dean Xiong Zhanglin and Ms. Ma Yanghua had an in-depth communication with 15 student representatives from each master and doctoral class.
Vice President Xiong Zhanglin extended a warm welcome to the student representatives and then introduced the objectives, positioning and requirements of the new round of the university's Great Discussion on Educational Ideology. For this symposium, he said that the construction of graduate courses is an important grasp of cultivating leading talents, and the construction of graduate courses that meet the cultivation needs should be accelerated. He pointed out that this symposium should summarize the past experience of education and teaching, and conduct a comprehensive discussion with the goal of identifying problems and improving them.
After that, the student representatives had a lively discussion on the current postgraduate training program, course contents, teaching methods and assessment forms of the law school. Vice President Xiong Zhanglin responded meticulously to the issues fed back by the student representatives, gave thorough consideration to the reasonable demands of the students, and gave full recognition to the constructive opinions of the students.
