"Legal Internship Experience Sharing Session - Special Session of the Supreme People's Court" was Successfully Held

In order to deeply implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, strengthen the cultivation of socialist rule of law talents, and promote the sharing and exchange of internship experience, Legal Internship Experience Sharing Session - Special Session of the Supreme People's Court organized by the Committee of Law School of Southeast University of China Communist Youth League and the Association of Master of Laws of Fudan University was successfully held on the evening of January 21, 2023 On the evening of January 21, 2023, a total of five students brought their experience of internship in various departments of the Supreme People's Court, answering questions and sharing their experience.

 

Before the start of the event, Mr. Wen Hao from Southeast University School of Law fully affirmed the positive significance of the sharing session, and expressed his gratitude for the support of the sister institutions as well as the sharing of the participating students; Mr. Xu Renjin from Fudan University School of Law believed that entering the Supreme Court for internship is an important way to understand the construction of rule of law in China, and hoped that there will be more chances for joint exchange activities in the future, and expressed his good wishes for the students' study life.

 

Xue Zhaorong from the Central Party School (National School of Administration) shared his internship experience in the Political Department of the Supreme Court, introducing the various tasks and experiences he had undertaken during his internship. Through his personal experience, he felt that the People's Court is not only a highly political organ, but also a highly operational political organ, and that the modernization of trial work is of great significance in promoting the modernization of the Chinese style.

 

Xu Tingli from Southeast University shared the application and selection process of the Supreme Court internship and the key points to pay attention to. She reminded students to consider their career plans and practical needs when applying for an internship at the Supreme Court.

 

Xie Yuqiao from Peking University shared her internship experience in a collegiate court of functional crimes, during which she overcame two challenges: how to deal with interpersonal relationships and how to handle various matters. She suggested that everyone should read the examination reports and make good notes on the papers, and at the same time, enhance their skills in evidence law.

 

Bao Ran from China University of Political Science and Law shared his internship experience in a civil trial court. He believed that this internship was a test of his past knowledge, and also gave him great inspiration for his academic research, which should not be based on old paper but on problems in practice.

 

Feng Xinyu from Fudan University firstly introduced the functions of the departments of the Supreme Court and the filling of internship positions from a macro point of view. Then, she emphasized the importance of firmly establishing the sense of confidentiality and resolutely abiding by the discipline of integrity as the first priority of the internship; finally, she shared her main duties, insights and gains during her internship in the Administrative Trial Court as well as her clothing, food, accommodation and transportation in Beijing.

 

Through experience sharing and interactive communication, this activity built an effective platform for students to understand the internship of the Supreme Court. Through this activity, students can more intuitively understand the content of the work of the Supreme Court internship as well as the possible experiences and gains, so that they can better plan their own development path, clarify their learning goals, and help to become high-quality socialist rule of law talents!
