On the morning of March 20, the 2024 Financial Accountability Audit Progress Meeting of the Law School was successfully held in the conference room on the fourth floor. Office Director Dong Guozhen, Personnel Secretary and Undergraduate Teaching Assistant Wang Weiwei, Research Secretary Song Ningwei, Deputy Secretary of Youth League Committee and Graduate Counselor Wen Hao attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Yuxin, Director of Audit Office of Southeast University.
Director Zhang Yuxin said that this economic responsibility audit into the point of work in accordance with the Regulations on Economic Responsibility Audit of Main Leaders of Colleges and Universities and Units Directly Under the Ministry of Education (Teaching Party [2021] No. 10) and the Notice on the Issuance of [Implementation Measures for the Audit of Economic Responsibility of Leaders and Cadres of Southeastern University] (School Development [2021] No. 34), etc., was commissioned by the Organization Department of the Party Committee of the school on 2024 March 13 began the outgoing economic responsibility audit of Comrade Mao Huixi, former Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Law and President of the Party School (also) (the audit period is from November 2018 to March 2023), and the mid-term economic responsibility audit of Comrade Ouyang Benqi, Dean of the School of Law (the audit period is from November 2021 to the present).
Chen Qing, Deputy Director of the Audit Office, read the audit notice, which will be based on the scope of responsibilities of the dean and the secretary of the School of Law to carry out economic responsibility audits of important development planning, major economic decision-making matters.
The director of the accounting firm, Bian Ming, introduced the work arrangement of the firm and hoped that the teachers and students of the Law School would actively cooperate with the audit work and provide relevant materials as required, and said that the audit staff would accept the supervision of the teachers and students of the Law School at all times, and would complete the audit work conscientiously and responsibly.
Mr. Liu Qichuan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Law, warmly welcomed the arrival of Mr. Zhang Yuxin and his delegation and briefly introduced the basic situation of the School of Law and the division of labor of its leaders. The School of Law adheres to the school motto of Southeast University Continuous Self-Improvement and the philosophy of the School of Law warm and sharp education, follows the policy of cross-sectional, team-based and practical, strictly abides by the requirements of the school, actively explores the development path, earnestly implements all the work, and runs the school with a high level of professionalism. Mao Huixi, former Secretary of the Party Committee of the Law School, made a report on the fulfillment of economic responsibility during his tenure as Secretary of the Party Committee of the Law School and President of the Party School (concurrently) from November 2018 to March 2023, and comprehensively introduced the situation related to the Party construction of the Law School during his tenure to lead the development of faculty members, cultivation of talents, and construction of the college. During his tenure, he insisted that the party building work and college construction have the same goal, deployment synchronization, and work with the same effort, realized the effective integration of party building and business, and led the college's high-quality development with high-quality party building.
Dean of the Law School, Ouyang Benqi, reported on his performance of economic responsibilities during his tenure as Dean of the Law School from November 2021 to present. Since assuming the position of dean, he has persisted in stabilizing morale, exploring and innovating, continuously creating new development platforms for Southeast Law, doing a good job in talent cultivation, insisting on strengthening the institute through scientific research, and making great breakthroughs in serving social development and cultivating leading talents. Ouyang Benqi stated that the Law School adheres to the implementation of the school's mission of cultivating morality and talents and the action of putting students first, and promotes the new development of the Southeast Law School brand.
Zhang Yuxin, Director of the Audit Office, affirmed the development of the Law School and briefly introduced the work of the Audit Office, clarifying the new connotation of responsibility audit, emphasizing the six aspects of the economic responsibility audit work, and making requirements for relevant rectification work.
Liu Qichuan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Law School, expressed gratitude on behalf of the Party Committee of the School for the support and concern provided by the School Audit Office to the work of the Law School. Liu Qichuan stated that this economic responsibility audit is an important means to implement national decision-making arrangements and promote the high-quality development of the college, which is closely related to the future planning and development of the college.
