On the morning of May 16th at 9:00 am, the thesis defense meeting of the Master's program in Business Law for the class of 2022 at Southeast University Law School was held in the conference room on the 4th floor of the Law School at Jiulonghu Campus. Professor Chen Guanghua from the Law School of Hohai University serves as the chairman of the defense committee, and together with Lawyer Xu Xudong from Jiangsu Yicheng Law Firm, Lawyer Yu Hongzheng from Junzejun (Shanghai) Law Firm, Associate Professors Infantry, Gao Ge, Ou Yunxiang, and Ren Danli from Southeast University Law School, they form the defense committee. Teacher Ma Yanghua from the Law School serves as the defense secretary. The defense team strictly followed the requirements of normative documents such as the "Management Measures for the Whole Process of Graduate Thesis Quality of Southeast University Law School" and the "Working Measures for the Quality Guidance Group of Graduate Thesis of Southeast University Law School", and made sufficient preparations for this defense work to ensure its smooth progress.
In the defense, seven students systematically presented their respective papers on the background of topic selection, research content, research methods and paths, key and difficult points, and main innovative points. The members of the defense committee proposed specific revision suggestions on literature review, structural optimization, academic standards, and a series of targeted questions based on the content of the students' papers and on-site reports. The defense students, relying on solid preliminary research accumulation and rigorous academic thinking, provided logically clear and informative responses to expert questions, fully demonstrating the research literacy and academic potential that graduate students should possess. They unanimously expressed that they will further revise and improve the content of the paper based on the valuable suggestions put forward by the teachers, striving to enhance the academic value and practical significance of the research results. Finally, after the collective resolution of the defense committee, it is recommended to award master's degrees to seven master's students from the Commercial Law Group. The entire defense followed academic norms and ended successfully in a rigorous, professional, and harmonious atmosphere.
