
Position: Party Secretary and Deputy Procurator-General of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Procuratorate
Experience: In December 1972, he joined the Changchun Automobile Research Institute in Jilin Province, where he worked as a worker and later as a cadre. In 1978, he enrolled in the Department of Chinese at Jilin University to study Chinese Language and Literature.
After graduating in February 1982, he became a secretary in the General Office of the Ministry of Public Security. In July 1983, he was transferred to the General Office of the Ministry of State Security, where he served successively as a secretary and as Deputy Director of the First Secretariat. In May 1986, he was sent to work at the local level in Yunnan Province, assuming the role of Deputy Director of the Dehong Prefecture State Security Office. In January 1988, he returned to the Ministry of State Security, serving successively as Deputy Director and then Director of the Research Office within the General Office, attaining the rank of Second-Level Investigator. In May 1992, he was appointed Deputy Director of the General Office of the Ministry of State Security. He was promoted to Director of the Tenth Bureau of the Ministry of State Security in July 1995, and in December 1998, he became the Director of the General Office.
In March 2000, he was transferred to a local post, taking on the roles of Director and Party Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial State Security Department. Starting in 2001, he concurrently served as Deputy Secretary-General of the Guangdong Provincial Government while continuing his duties as Director and Party Secretary of the Provincial State Security Department.
In December 2007, he transitioned to the procuratorial system, becoming the Party Secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Procuratorate. In January 2008, he was appointed Party Secretary and Deputy Procurator-General of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Procuratorate. He has assumed his current position since February of that year.
