On July 24th , 2018, Jiangsu Province promoting Pilot Work on Standardization of Opening Government Affairs in Grassroots Meeting was held in Nanjing. Associate Professor Liu Qichuan was invited as the only expert scholar in the academic circle to participate in the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Comrade Wu Jianming, deputy director of the General Office of Jiangsu Province.
Associate Professor Liu Qichuan praised the current summary of the province's experience, which was quite new. It was pointed out that the core of promoting the standardization of government affairs openness was not technology, but how to standardizating at the institutional level such as the list of public services. The pilot work cannot be limited to the existing model of the power and responsibility list established by the provincial government, but should be actively explored and innovated.
