On August 9, 2020, the School of Law of Southeast University successfully held the mid-term progress self-examination meeting of the national key research and development plan project Integrated and convenient service technology and equipment for the whole process of litigation through an online meeting. The project team invited Wang Lansheng, former deputy director of the Information Center of the Supreme People’s Court, Wang Dejin, former deputy inspector of the Information Center of the Supreme People’s Court, Yang Xiaochun, professor of the School of Computer Science at Beijing Institute of Technology, Jing Liping, professor of the Department of Computer Science at Beijing Jiaotong University, and the High-tech Office of Southeast University Research Institute Deputy Director Yan Changzhi served as the review expert. The meeting was presided over by Xu Minchuan, associate researcher of the School of Law, the project team leader, Professor Zhou Youyong, and more than 30 people in charge of various projects and important participating members.

In the mid-term inspection meeting of the project, the project leader, Professor Zhou Youyong, reported on the overall R&D and mid-term progress of the project. The person in charge of each project reports on the progress of the research and development of the project in terms of the basic situation of the project, the completion of indicators, the progress of the medium-term project, and the funding of the project. Based on the report of each person in charge, the participating experts put forward valuable expert opinions from the perspectives of completion of indicators, relevance of judicial scenarios, technological innovations, application demonstration responses, etc., for the project team's next R&D reference and report defense reference.

After the mid-term inspection meeting of the project is over, the project team will combine expert opinions to adjust and summarize the next development of the project. The smooth convening of this meeting is of great significance to the completion of the project, by listening to the mid-term reports of the project leader and the project leaders, and strengthening the communication and liaison between the projects of the project team.
