The symposium was chaired by Vice President Shan Pingji. Vice Dean Shan Pingji extended a warm welcome to the Jiangsu University Law School and his delegation to our school for research and exchange, and briefly introduced the teachers who participated in the meeting. Secretary Mao Huixi delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the School of Law, warmly welcome the Jiangsu University Law School to our school to investigate and exchange undergraduate professional construction, and introduced the development status of Southeast University Law School in recent years and our school's work in student training and professional construction.
In his speech, Dean Li Bingshuo introduced the development of Jiangsu University Law School and the content of this investigation. He believed that Jiangsu University Law School and Southeast University Law School have similar origins and backgrounds. Southeast University Law School is in professional construction and discipline development. There have been fruitful results in this respect, which are worth learning from the Law School of Jiangsu University. I hope to learn from the advanced experience of the development of Southeast University Law School through the research seminar.
Zhu Lingping, Secretary of the Party Committee of Jiangsu University Law School, said that Southeast University established a law major under the background of a strong engineering university and achieved good results in the exploration and development of interdisciplinary aspects. These experiences are worth learning from the Law School of Jiangsu University. To achieve rapid development during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, it is necessary to update development thinking, plan development strategies, and learn from Southeast University Law School, which will provide good guidance for the future development of Jiangsu University Law School. I hope that the two schools will establish long-term learning exchangesrelationship.
Deputy Dean Shan Pingji introduced our college's undergraduate major construction, introduced the college's exploration of intersection, teamwork, and practical law major construction, and pointed out that strong cohesion and centripetal force are the foundation of the college's development.
Director Gao Ge of Southeast University Law Practice Education Center introduced the development history of Southeast University Law School since its establishment, and summarized the college's relevant experience in talent training, base construction, and platform development.
Liu Qichuan, deputy secretary of the School of Law of Southeast University, introduced the work of students, saying that the core of the development of the college lies in the construction of the team, and the development of the college requires the efforts of all the colleges.
Participants conducted free exchanges and discussions around the research topics, and the participants expressed their opinions and spoke freely. The successful convening of this research symposium is conducive to the mutual exchanges between our school and Jiangsu University Law School in the construction of first-class undergraduate majors in law, and promotes the cooperation and development of the two law schools.
