In order to promote the study, publicity and implementation of the civil code, on August 23, 2020, associate professor Shan Pingji, director of the civil prosecution research base of Southeast University, vice president of the law school and doctoral supervisor, was invited to give a special lecture on Civil Code for the judicial system of Rugao City, Jiangsu Province. The theme of the lecture is system development and interpretation and application of civil code. The lecture was presided over by Lu Yanlin, director of Rugao Judicial Bureau. More than 200 Rugao judicial system, law firms and grass-roots legal service personnel participated in the activity. In this lecture, Shan Pingji interpreted the system structure and rules application of civil code. On the basis of the interpretation of the framework system of the seven civil codes, this paper focuses on the new contents such as the right of abode system and additional rules, systematically sorts out the rule changes of each sub division, and expounds the legal basis behind them in detail, which further deepens the participants' understanding of the basic structure and regulation principle of the civil code.            

The civil code is an encyclopedia of social life. It is an important task for the whole society to study and publicize the civil code well. The communication between scholars and the judicial system is an important way to promote the study of civil code, which is conducive to the realization of benign interaction between academic and practical circles. This lecture reflects the importance of the civil law publicity work in the civil prosecution research base of Southeast University, which is conducive to the implementation of the civil code.
