On November 10, 2020, the 17th Yangtze River Delta law forum was held in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province under the guidance of China law society, sponsored by Zhejiang Province, Shanghai City, Anhui Province and Jiangsu Province law society, and hosted by Jiangsu Province law society. The Organizing Committee of the meeting confirmed 80 papers and 8 excellent organizations. Among them, our college won the excellent organization award of the 17th Yangtze River Delta law forum Professor Xiong Zhanglin, assistant to the Dean, attended the ceremony on behalf of the college.

The Yangtze River Delta law forum is one of the seven regional legal forums under the guidance of the China law society. The theme of this forum is the research on the legal guarantee for the modernization of social governance in the Yangtze River Delta during the 14th five year plan period, aiming to make a positive response to the legal needs of the current economic and social development of the Yangtze River Delta.

Our college has been committed to promoting the construction of the rule of law in China, serving the local rule of law and economic development, actively participating in social governance, and giving full play to the initiative of university law. This award of excellent organizational unit reflects the mission of university serving the society. I believe that our college will continue to contribute to the construction of the Yangtze River Delta under the rule of law.
