Wei Wensong, a Doctoral Student, and Li Jiying, a Master's Student, were Awarded the 10th Ying Songnian Scholarship in Administrative Law

On November 27, 2021, the 10th Ying Songnian Administrative Law Scholarship Award Ceremony was successfully held in Beijing, hosted by the Council of Ying Songnian Administrative Law Foundation and organized by the Administrative Law Research Association of the Chinese Law Society and the Institute of Rule of Law Government of China University of Political Science and Law. After the three stages of recommendation by relevant units and individuals, evaluation by the scholarship committee and online public announcement, Wei Wensong, a doctoral student, and Li Jiying, a master student, were awarded the 10th Ying Songnian Administrative Law Scholarship.

It is reported that Ying Songnian Administrative Law Foundation is a scholarship fund initiated by Mr. Ying Songnian, a famous jurist in China, together with several administrative law colleagues. Since its establishment in December 2005, the Ying Songnian Administrative Law Scholarship has become increasingly influential in leading the growth and success of administrative law graduate students, and has been described as the Nobel Prize of Chinese administrative law. So far, the scholarship has been selected and awarded for ten consecutive years, and a total of 68 doctoral students and 128 master's students from law schools of more than ten universities in China have received this award. This year, 10 doctoral students and 10 master's students, including Wei Wensong and Li Jiying, were awarded the Ying Songnian Administrative Law Scholarship.

According to the statistics, our students have performed well in the previous Ying Songnian Administrative Law Scholarship awards. Up to this year, 21 postgraduates in Constitutional and Administrative Law have received the award, including 4 doctoral students and 17 master students. The more than 20 awards reflect the outstanding achievements of our constitutional and administrative law majors in cultivating talents over the years and show the continuation and promotion of the academic spirit of Southeast Public Law.

Under the inspiration of the academic spirit of Southeast Public Law, we believe that our students will continue to forge ahead and create further successes.
