On the afternoon of September 16, in 2023 with the relevant provisions of the Constitution of China's trade unions, the regulations on the election of trade union grassroots organizations, and the measures for the implementation of the second-level Southeast University Staff Congress, the party organizations at the same level and the school teachers Congress, the Law School Faculty Congress Executive Committee election in the mock court solemn. President Ouyang benqi, vice secretary and Vice President Liu Qichuan, Vice President Xiong Zhanglin, Vice President Dan Pingji and other college leaders, as well as all the faculty attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Liu Qichuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the college.

The Congress should be attended by 71 members (representatives) , the actual number of 58, in line with the quorum requirements. The main agenda of the Congress includes: the adoption of the method of election of the assembly; the adoption of the list of candidates for election to the executive committee; the adoption of the list of tellers; the adoption of the list of supervisors; and the election of the members of the new executive committee.

First of all, deputy secretary Liu Qichuan read out theMethods for election(draft) , the assembly adopted theMethods for election(draft) and voted to adopt the list of candidates for the committee, the list of counting and the list of supervisors. Under the leadership of Liu Qichuan, all the teaching staff cast their sacred and solemn vote. In accordance with the electoral methods, all the supervisors and counting staff carried out their work in a serious and orderly manner. After the tight and orderly counting, the chief conductor reported the results of the vote counting to the conference.

According to statistics, the congress elected Dong Guozhen, Gao Xiang, Gong Xianghe, Liu Jianli, Liu Qichuan, Miao zeyi, Ren Danli, Wan Qianhui, Vera Wang, Xing Chenxi, Yang Zhiqiong and Zhu Shanshan (in alphabetical order) as members of the Executive Committee of the new Staff Congress, deputy Secretary Liu Qichuan announced the names of the elected members.
