On October 19, the 2023 Annual Meeting of the Procuratorial Research Society of Jiangsu Province Law Society was held in Nanjing. Zhou Jiye, President of Jiangsu Law Society, Tao Guozhong, Deputy Prosecutor General of Jiangsu Provincial People's Procuratorate, Xu Jinhui, Secretary of Nanjing Municipal Party Committee of Political and Legal Affairs and President of Nanjing Law Society, Xiong Yi, President of Jiangsu Law Society Procuratorial Research Society and Procurator General of Nanjing People's Procuratorate and other leaders attended the seminar. The seminar was attended by more than 100 representatives from universities and procuratorial organizations.
Prof. Ouyang Benqi was invited to give an academic report on Misdemeanor Governance in the New Era, which elaborated on the background of misdemeanor governance in the era, the dilemma of misdemeanor governance, and the systematic thinking of misdemeanor governance, and received favorable comments. Prof. Yin Ji was invited to be the speaker in the first module of Modernization of Procuratorial Work and Procuratorial Research. He discussed the concept of modernization of procuratorial work and analyzed the current misconceptions by combining with the speakers' articles; he also discussed the structure and innovative development of digital procuratorate from the perspective of modernization. Prof. Li Chuan was invited to be a speaker in the third module of New Financial Crimes Governance and Prosecutorial Supervision, and he discussed the legal benefits, nature of concealment and subjective aspects of money laundering crimes in the light of the speaker's article.
