On November 19, 2023, the 11th Ying Songnian Administrative Law Scholarship Award Ceremony, sponsored by the Council of Ying Songnian Administrative Law Foundation and organized by the Administrative Law Research Society of China Law Society and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, was successfully held in Guangzhou. The Award Ceremony was hosted by Prof. Dong Hao, Executive Chairman of the Board of Governors of Ying Songnian Administrative Law Foundation and Distinguished Professor of Beijing Normal University Law School. Prof. Ying Songnian, Life Professor of China University of Political Science and Law, made a speech, and Prof. Ma Huaide, Chairman of the Board of Governors of Ying Songnian Administrative Law Foundation and President of China University of Political Science and Law, read the list of the winners and awarded the certificates.

In strict accordance with the selection method, the evaluation committee scored and ranked the candidates according to their academic achievements, awards and school grades after the preliminary and final evaluations, and finally formed a list of 10 winners for doctoral students and 10 winners for master's students. Our doctoral student Lu Haibo, doctoral student Zhu Zheng, and master's student Sun Kunpeng stood out and won the 11th Songnian Ying Scholarship in Administrative Law.

Ying Songnian Administrative Law Foundation was established on the initiative of China University of Political Science and Law for the purpose of rewarding outstanding administrative law graduate students and promoting the development of academic research in administrative law. Since its establishment on December 10, 2005, the Foundation has been focusing on rewarding scholars who have made outstanding contributions to the academic research of administrative law, and the target applicants are all doctoral and master's degree students of administrative law nationwide, which is regarded as the Nobel Prize of China's administrative law sector. So far, the scholarship has been selected and awarded for eleven consecutive years, and 78 doctoral students and 138 master's students from law schools of more than ten universities in China have been awarded this honor. According to other statistics, our students have made excellent performance in the previous Ying Songnian Scholarship of Administrative Law. Up to this year, 24 postgraduates majoring in Constitutional and Administrative Law have won the award, including 6 doctoral students and 18 master's students.

In the future, the School will not forget its original intention and forge ahead, promote the high-quality development of discipline construction, inspire young scholars to climb the academic peak, serve the construction of a higher level of rule of law in China, and make greater contributions to the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country on the track of the rule of law!
