In order to further strengthen the care and concern for the retired teachers and create the teaching and learning style of respecting the elderly, in January, 2024, when it was winter, members of the leadership team of the School of Law and representatives of the labor union visited the retired teachers, Mr. Song Tao, Mr. Mao Huixi, Mr. Wang Jinyuan, and Mr. Yang Suyun, before the festival. Participating in the visit were Liu Qichuan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Law School, Ouyang Benqi, Dean of the Law School, Xiong Zhanglin, Vice Dean of the Law School, Shan Pingji, Vice Dean of the Law School, Chen Yun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Law School, and Liu Hong, Vice Chairman of the Labor Union. The college expressed its condolences and New Year blessings to retired teachers such as Ms. Xia Yun, Ms. Meng Hong, Mr. Zhu Changbao, Mr. Ye Shuli, and Mr. Zhang Ning by different ways such as telephone and WeChat.

During the condolence process, leaders talked with Mr. Song Tao, asked him about his health and living condition, expressed their gratitude to Mr. Song for laying a solid foundation for the development of the law school and making contributions during his tenure, and hoped that he would come back home more often.

Passing on the fire to smooth people's heart. Mr. Mao Huixi felt honored to be appointed as the chairman of the Committee of Concern for the Next Generation of the School of Law, and promised that he would continue to care for and support the development of the School.

Mr. Wang Jinyuan expressed his happiness for the good development momentum of the Law School in recent years, gratified that there were successors for the Law School, and full of confidence and expectation for the future development of the Law School.

Ms. Yang Suyun thanked the leaders for their concern for the old comrades. She said that although she has retired, but she never forgets to pay attention to the development of the School of Law, she highly praised the achievements made by the School and wished that the development of the School of Law would be better and better!

The leaders of the School of Law also distributed souvenirs on behalf of all the teachers and staff of the School to all the retired teachers and sent them their blessings for the Chinese New Year, sincerely wishing them to take good care of their health, spend their twilight years in peace, and have a happy and peaceful Spring Festival!
