Our college held a seminar on the revision of the master's index allocation method

On the afternoon of 16 August, the Faculty held a seminar on the revision of the master index allocation method in the conference room on the fourth floor. The meeting was conducted in a combination of online and offline methods, chaired by Professor Ouyang Benqi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, with Professor Wang Lusheng, Director of the Division of Social Sciences, Professor Xiong Zhanglin, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor Gao Ge, Director of the Centre for Practical Education in Law, Associate Professor Liu Jianli, Associate Professor Lu Lu, Associate Professor Yi Bo, Associate Professor Liu Yaohui, and Associate Professor Xu Minchuan attending the meeting offline, and teachers such as Professor Shan Pingji, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor Meng Hongzhi, Professor Yang Professor Shan Pingji, Professor Meng Hongzhi, Professor Yang Dengfeng, Professor Liu Lianjun and Professor Yu Lixin, Vice Dean of the School of Law, participated in the seminar online. The seminar was chaired by Dean Ouyang Benqi.

At the meeting, Mr Xiong Zhanglin, Vice Dean of the School, firstly introduced the overall situation of the revision of the Master's Index Allocation Methods, gave an in-depth explanation on the guiding ideology, formulation principle, implementation orientation and revision focus of the Methods, and gave a detailed explanation and response to the feedback from the teachers in the preliminary research process.

Subsequently, the participating teachers, combined with the basic situation of the college and the actual cultivation of master's degree, had a full and warm discussion, and put forward constructive opinions and suggestions on the revision of the master's index allocation method.

Finally, Dean Ouyang Benqi pointed out that the scientific allocation of indexes is an important measure for the rational allocation of resources, which plays an important guiding role in improving the quality of postgraduate cultivation and is an important guarantee for promoting the connotative development of postgraduate education. As a next step, the college will reasonably absorb and adopt the opinions and suggestions put forward by the teachers in this seminar, and based on the actual situation, continue to improve the allocation method and allocate resources in a scientific and reasonable way.
