First of all, Dean Ouyang Benqi delivered a speech and pointed out that in the new era of rapid development of the Internet and big data, the cultivation method of “cyber security + law” makes up for the defects of a single specialty in law that is difficult to deal with network problems in depth. Therefore, the prospect of “cyber security + jurisprudence” is very promising, and dual-degree talents have great potential.
In the next session of teacher-student exchanges, the participating teachers answered the students' questions one by one, provided professional guidance for science and engineering students to study law, analyzed and answered in detail the cultivation plan of the dual-degree program of “cyber security + law”, and proposed that the dual-degree study is not only aimed at the application, but also to cultivate the legal thinking to a certain extent.
Finally, Mr. Liu Qichuan, the secretary of the university, summarized the meeting. In response to the students' anxiety about the lack of in-depth cross-disciplinary learning, he proposed that “laying a solid foundation” is the fundamental part of the dual-degree integration study. Don't worry too much about the depth of the integration of dual degrees, we should carry out professional integration research under the premise of a solid foundation, and said that the subsequent course arrangements and settings, we will also communicate with the lecturer to add the “network security + law” through.
In a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere, the Dean's Lunch and Southeast University School of Law “Cyber Security + Law” Teacher-Student Symposium came to a successful conclusion. This activity allowed the confusion in the minds of students with double degrees of “cyber security + law” to be solved in time, established a direct communication bridge for the exchange between teachers and students, further strengthened the connection between students with double degrees and the Law School, and injected new vitality into the development of the School. The “Dean's Luncheon”, as a featured activity of the Law School's faculty and students' interaction and communication, has infiltrated the “Wenrui culture” into every corner of the Law School's faculty and students' activities.
