On the afternoon of 14 October, Professor Wang Lusheng and his team from the Digital Law Team of Southeast University went to the East China University of Political Science and Law to carry out the activities of young teachers of digital law. The team and the East China University of Political Science and Law Digital Rule of Law Research Institute, Heilongjiang University School of Law digital law team conducted exchanges and discussions. Professor Ma Changshan, Distinguished Professor of the Ministry of Education ‘Cheung Kong Scholars’ and Director of the Digital Rule of Law Institute of East China University of Political Science and Law, Professor Lu Yufeng, Director of the Research Department of East China University of Political Science and Law, Associate Professor Han Xuji, Vice President of the Digital Rule of Law Institute, Associate Professor Zhang Wenlong, Vice President of the Digital Rule of Law Institute, etc., and Professor Wang Lusheng, Director of the Division of Social Sciences of Southeast University, Associate Professor Xu Minchuan, Associate Professor of Law, Associate Professor of the School of Law, and Professor of the Department of Social Sciences of Southeast University. Professor Wang Lusheng, Director of Social Science Department of Southeast University, Associate Professor Xu Minchuan, Associate Professor Wang Yuan, Mr Bi Wenxuan and Mr Bi Sheng of Southeast University, Professor Li Hongtao, Executive Editor of the Journal of Seeking Truth, Professor of Law School of Heilongjiang University, and Associate Professor Pan Dandan of the Law School of Heilongjiang University attended the research seminar.
The symposium was presided over by Vice Dean Han Xuji. Dean Han warmly welcomed the visit of the digital law team of Southeast University School of Law and the digital law team of Heilongjiang University School of Law, and expressed his desire to strengthen cooperation in the future.
Director Lu Yufeng introduced in detail the basic situation of the Digital Rule of Law Institute and shared the valuable experience of the Institute's construction, focusing on various aspects such as team construction, discipline construction, society construction and publication construction. Participating teachers had in-depth discussions on key issues such as teacher assessment and talent cultivation, and the atmosphere of the meeting was warm and cordial.
Professor Wang Lusheng shared the basic situation and construction progress of the digital law team of Southeast University, introduced the ins and outs of the establishment of the Future Rule of Law and Digital Intelligence Technology Innovation Laboratory of Southeast University, and hoped to strengthen the exchange and cooperation between the two teams in the construction of disciplines and research platforms in the future. Professor Li Hongtao also introduced the basic situation of the construction of the digital law team in the Law School of Heilongjiang University.
Subsequently, the participating young teachers of digital law exchanged views with Professor Ma Changshan on the layout of the innovative platform construction, the balance between official duties and scientific research, and the strategy to overcome the technical knowledge obstacles, and so on. Professor Ma Changshan answered the questions one by one with his personal experience, sincere attitude and humorous language, which made people feel friendly, and the participating young teachers expressed that they had gained a lot.
This symposium for young teachers has promoted in-depth exchanges between the Future Rule of Law and Digital Intelligence Technology Innovation Laboratory of Southeast University, the Digital Rule of Law Research Institute of East China University of Political Science and Law, and the digital law team of Heilongjiang University Law School. All three parties are aware that in the future, they should give full play to the advantages of their respective disciplines, promote further exchanges and cooperation among each other, and promote the continuous progress of the discipline of digital jurisprudence.
