In order to thoroughly study and implement the thoughts of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee, and strengthen the study and training of the Party's basic theories, guidelines, and fundamental knowledge, the Party Committee of our school, in conjunction with the Party Committees of the School of Marxism, the School of Art, the School of Humanities, the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and the General Party Branch of the Department of Physical Education, successfully hosted the 39th training session for development objects from November 4th to November 11th, 2024. This training course was organized and undertaken by the Party Committee of the Law School, and the development targets are selected and recommended by each school. The training course for this development target invited teachers Chen Yun, Zhu Jusheng, Li Tao, Yuan Qin, and Li Tinghong to give lectures. A total of 129 undergraduate development targets from each college participated. This training aimed to deepen the understanding of the Party's policies and theories, learn basic knowledge of the Party, and enhance the cultivation of Party spirit among the development targets.
On the evening of November 4th, before the lecture began, Chen Yun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Dean of the Law School, mobilized for the opening of the class. Vice Secretary Chen Yun extends a warm welcome and heartfelt congratulations to every student present, encouraging them to firmly uphold their ideals and beliefs in their studies, hone their party spirit through practice, strive to achieve the integration of learning, thinking, and application, and unify knowledge, belief, and action, and transform their learning achievements into a powerful driving force to promote work and serve the people.
Subsequently, Deputy Secretary Chen Yun gave a lecture on the theme of Strengthening the Belief in the Rule of Law and Enhancing the Responsibility for the Rule of Law to the students. The lecture covered four aspects in detail: the overview of the system of socialist rule of law theory with Chinese characteristics, the content structure and basic characteristics of the belief in the rule of law and the responsibility for the rule of law, and the requirements for party members to take the lead in strengthening the belief in the rule of law and enhancing the responsibility for the rule of law and strengthening the belief in the rule of law and enhancing the responsibility for the rule of law.
On the evening of November 5, Mr. Zhu Jusheng, Vice President of the Marxist Institute, titled Strengthening the Party's Discipline Construction and Promoting the Comprehensive and Strict Governance of the Party to Deeper Development, explained in depth that strict Party discipline is a concentrated reflection of the progressiveness and purity of the Marxist party, and strengthening discipline construction is the fundamental policy for comprehensive and strict governance of the party.
On the evening of November 6, Mr. Li Tao, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Humanities College, gave a lecture entitled Viewing the Conditions of a Communist Party Member from a Centennial Party History. From the perspective of the nature of the CPC, the main content of the Party Constitution, the centennial history of the CPC, and the historical evolution of the conditions of a Communist Party member, he explained how to become a qualified Communist Party member.
On the evening of November 8, Mr. Yuan Qin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Academy of Arts, gave the students a lecture on the theme of The Struggle Course and Historical Experience of the CPC, which combed the history of the Party in detail from four stages, namely, the epoch-making (1921-1949), the earth changing (1949-1978), the earth shaking (1978-2012), and the Jingtian Weidi (2012 present).
On the evening of November 11, Mr. Li Tinghong, Vice Minister of the Organization Department of the Party Committee, gave a lecture on the theme of Correct the Motivation to Become a Qualified Party Member to the students. Starting from the major events in the history of the CPC, and combining the contents and requirements of the Constitution of the CPC, he explained to the students the criteria for becoming a qualified party member, and further corrected the students' motivation to become a party member.
After five days of close study and discussion, the party member development targets have gained a more thorough understanding of the party's guiding ideology and line policies, their original intention of joining the party has been further purified, and their party spirit has been substantially enhanced. This training is not only an accumulation of knowledge, but also a baptism of spirit, which will surely become an important milestone on their growth path. I believe this experience will continue to inspire them to push themselves with more enthusiasm and stricter standards, actively align with the Party organization, and tirelessly strive to promote the high-quality development of China's economy and society and achieve the prosperity and strength of the Chinese nation!
