Professor Chen Hongbing Was Invited by Guantao Law Firm to Give a Public Lecture on the Theme of "How to Conduct Effective Entity Defense"

From the afternoon of November 16th to the evening of November 17th, 2024, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor Chen Hongbing from the School of Law at Southeast University was invited by Guantao Law Firm to give a public lecture on the theme of How to Conduct Effective Entity Defense. This lecture attracted sixty to seventy lawyers from various provinces and cities across the country, including Beijing, Shandong, Hebei, Henan, Shanxi, Chongqing, Hubei, Anhui, Zhejiang, Fujian, Shanghai, Zhenjiang, Suzhou, Yangzhou, etc., to gather together and explore the profound significance and practical application of criminal law.

Professor Chen Hongbing, with his humorous and infectious teaching style, brought a combination of theory and practice brainstorming to the lawyers present. During the 12-hour offline lecture, Professor Chen carefully selected topics such as exploring legislative purposes, adapting to crime and punishment, determining forms of responsibility, distinguishing preparatory and implementation behaviors, and prohibiting repeated evaluations. He delved into the interpretation methods of criminal law provisions and the analysis of commonly used key criminal charges in criminal law.

Professor Chen not only started from a theoretical perspective, but also combined rich cases and types of behavior to provide a detailed explanation of the implementation of charges and defense strategies. He particularly emphasized the understanding of the protection of legal interests for specific charges and the interpretation of the constituent elements, using a step-by-step approach to provide targeted and guiding specific suggestions for lawyers.
