At the beginning, Secretary Chen extended a warm welcome to all participants. She highlighted that this event marks the Law School's first major sports activity in 2025 and the inaugural open registration for the "Warm Start" Running Group to all SEU teachers, students, and alumni. Notably, the SEU Alumni Associations in Lianyungang and Xi'an also actively responded to the running group's call, organizing synchronized running events as branch venues.

Subsequently, Law School Party Committee Secretary Liu Qichuan delivered a speech. He encouraged everyone to embrace sports with a healthy, upward, and proactive spirit, emphasizing perseverance to ignite passion and harvest happiness through running. He wished all runners a safe and joyful race, exhilarating in motion, and urged them to run with confidence, brilliance, and toward a splendid life.

The event received sponsorship support from Xu Jinbo, a Law School alumnus and Ph.D. graduate of the Class of 2014. Director Xu expressed high recognition for the event's meticulous organization, encouraging continuous participation in sports for physical and mental well-being. He wished every runner to challenge themselves, break limits, and propel the SEU Law School toward an even brighter future.

Participants, uniformly dressed, conducted pre-run warm-up exercises to stretch and energize, optimizing their physical condition. Following Professor Meng Hongzhi's starting announcement, the grand opening run of the new semester commenced.

Running|Striving

With the starting pistol fired by Deputy Director Ding Liang, runners set off from the Law School building, radiating vitality as a flowing campus landmark.

They poured sweat and dedication, showcasing SEU students' youthful vigor and striving spirit, converging into a collective force of courage and progress.

Various supplies were prepared along the track to fully support the runners. Fruits, energy gels, electrolyte water... Staff members maximized service to every runner, ensuring their determined strides toward the finish line.

Alumni reunited during the event, reminiscing about university days and sharing current statuses, seeking their SEU memories with heartfelt nostalgia.
