On the morning of March 14th, the Law School Cultural Construction Promotion Meeting was successfully held in the Law School building to deploy the planning and construction work of the History Museum of the Institute and promote the smooth and efficient implementation of the compilation of the Institute's chronicles. Liu Qichuan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Law School, Chen Yun, Deputy Secretary and Vice Dean, Ji Yang, Deputy Dean, Dong Guozhen, Office Director, Wang Weiwei, Undergraduate Academic Secretary and Personnel Secretary, Fei Qianqian, Secretary of the Youth League Committee and Undergraduate Counselor, Zhong Yi, Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee and Graduate Counselor, Ma Yanghua, Graduate Secretary, and Chen Xi, Administrative Secretary, attended the meeting. Secretary Liu Qichuan pointed out that the renovation and improvement project of the office environment of the Law School is steadily advancing. At this time, launching the construction of the History Museum of the School has special significance for sorting out the history of the School and condensing its culture. He demanded, firstly, to attach great importance to it and mobilize the entire hospital. Led by the Wen Rui service team from the Law School, a leading group for the construction of the college history museum was established. Each teaching and research department actively participated and closely cooperated, while widely mobilizing the strength of senior teachers, outstanding alumni, and current students to participate in the collection of historical materials, ensuring the authenticity and completeness of the materials. Secondly, draw on the strengths of others and condense characteristics. Actively conduct research and learning at sister universities, absorb excellent construction experience from other departments and colleges' history museums, and focus on summarizing and refining one's own experience in discipline construction and talent cultivation models, in order to create a cultural brand with unique characteristics of the law school. Thirdly, build high-quality products and ensure their implementation. Adhere to the construction goal of making the History Museum of the college a spiritual landmark that reflects the achievements of the college, showcases the image of the college, and consolidates consensus among teachers, students, and alumni. Pay attention to clarifying work time nodes and assigning responsibilities to individuals.

Regarding the sorting and compilation of the school annals, Secretary Liu emphasized that the Department of Law at Southeast University originated from the Law Department of the School of Social Sciences at the Fourth National Sun Yat sen University in 1927. After undergoing departmental adjustments, disciplinary suspensions, and the restoration of majors, the school was re established in 2006. Historical materials are relatively scattered, and it is necessary to actively establish contacts with the archives and sister departments to ensure the completeness and authenticity of historical materials. At the same time, attention should be paid to highlighting themes and providing appropriate details. Vice Secretary Chen Yun and Vice Dean Ji Yang added that the construction leadership group should comprehensively and solidly promote its work according to the plan, striving to fully demonstrate the history and achievements of the college since its establishment. The whole institution should form a joint force, strengthen mutual cooperation, refine the list of key tasks, and ensure the high-quality and timely completion of the construction of the institution's history museum and the compilation of the institution's chronicles.

This meeting established the work objectives of the construction of the Law School History Museum and the compilation of the school annals, reported the preliminary preparation plan and overall progress arrangement, clarified the task division of the construction leadership group, and laid a solid foundation for the comprehensive launch of related work.
