At the beginning of the meeting, Director Wang Lusheng, on behalf of the Digital Law Team of Southeast University Law School, warmly welcomed the visit of Dean Chen Kun and his delegation. Director Wang first exchanged with Dean Chen about the basic situation of the development of digital law at Southeast University Law School, focusing on the construction platform, scientific research projects, and member composition. He emphasized the research and development upgrade of the Faheng large model. The "Faheng-R1E" enhances the practical ability of the model in judicial scenarios, while the upcoming "Faheng-M1" leads the construction of a legal intelligent ecosystem with a parameter scale of 235 billion. Director Wang Lusheng pointed out that Southeast University's digital law is based on the interdisciplinary foundation of integrating literature and industry, and looks forward to further cooperation with the digital law team of Nanjing University to achieve better development together.

Dean Chen Kun introduced the basic situation of the research on "Artificial Intelligence Assisted Legislation". Dean Chen stated that the research on AI assisted legislation originated from a project commissioned by the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress. The purpose of this visit is to comprehensively understand the current situation, problems, and causes of AI assisted legislation in various aspects. At the same time, he had in-depth exchanges with Director Wang Lusheng on the construction of digital law disciplines such as faculty and enrollment.

Subsequently, both parties had in-depth exchanges on the smart legislative platform. Associate Professor Li Qing hopes to gain a deeper understanding of Dongda's smart legislative platform through this research, focusing on four aspects: drafting and revision, filing review and regulation clearance, collection of public opinion and opinions, and post legislative evaluation. Associate Professor Xu Minchuan stated that the current smart legislation platform can cover all aspects except for post legislation evaluation. Its functional design is consistent with the work configuration of the legislative department in practice, and it highly focuses on the location and time requirements of users. Professor Zhang Baili pointed out that the current practice requires the most urgent need for record review, opinion adoption, and organization, and the positioning of the smart legislative platform in terms of technology should still be an auxiliary platform.

This meeting deepened the cooperation between the digital law teams of the two universities, explored the practical application and development direction of the smart legislation platform, and helped promote further integration of artificial intelligence technology and legislative work.
