On September 8, 2018, the China Medical Law Forum sponsored by Law School of Southeast University was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. Professor Patricia C. Kuszler, the teacher of law school in Washington University, Professor Terry J. Price,the teacher of law school in Washington University, Professor Yang Fang, the teacher of Anhui Medical University, and many medical law experts and scholars attended the meeting.
The opening ceremony of the forum was presided over by Professor Ouyang Benxi, associate dean of the law school in Southeast University, and Prof. Liu Yanhong, the dean of lawschool in Southeast University, gave a welcome speech.
Professor Liu Yanhong first extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guests who attended the meeting. Later, she briefly introduced the development of the medical law discipline of Southeast University. The medical law discipline is a special subject of Law School. The second part of the forum is “Keynote Speech”, hosted by Associate Professor Dai Qingkang，the teacher of law school in Southeast University. The first keynote speaker was Professor Patricia C. Kuszler of the Washington University. Professor Patricia C. Kuszler focused on the frontier issues of dignity and hospice care, and the status quo of death from dignity in the United States and other countries. The third part of the forum focused on “manual assisted reproductive legal issues”. The fourth part of the forum discussed Legal issues of human organ transplantation. The fifth part of the forum discussed Legal issues of cutting-edge medical technology. The sixth part of the forum discussed “late medical legal issues”. The seventh item of the forum discussed “ Medical Law Issues in Big Data Internet”. Many school teachers and outstanding lawyers have expressed their opinions here.
The closing ceremony of the forum was presided over by Associate Professor Li Yuxing, associate dean of law school in Southeast University Professor Zhao Min fromHubei University and Professor Xiong Yongming from Nanchang Universitymade a concluding speech.
