On July 7, 2020, the Supreme People's Procuratorate decided to set up 283 research projects on procuratorial application theory of the Supreme People's Procuratorate in 2020, including 90 funded projects and 193 self financing projects. The Research on the identification of criminal responsibility of Internet service providers presided over by prosecutor Liu Jue of Huzhou people's Procuratorate, participated and presided over by Professor Chen Hongbing of our hospital, and Research on enterprise criminal compliance and procuratorial function issues presided over by procurator general Zhou Dongsheng of Tongshan District People's Procuratorate of Xuzhou City and participated and presided over by Associate Professor Qian Xiaoping of our hospital were funded and approved by Lianyungang people's Procuratorate Research on the procuratorial supervision of civil execution from the perspective of negative execution presided over by deputy Procurator General Li Xiang and participated and presided over by Professor Yin Ji of our hospital, theoretical and empirical research on procuratorial suggestions of social governance presided over by deputy procurator general Zou Yunxiang of Taizhou People's Procuratorate and participated and presided over by Professor Li Chuan of our hospital, and presided over by deputy Procurator General Tao Zhong of Nanjing People's Procuratorate and Feng Yu of our hospital Associate Professor Qing participated in and presided over the exploration of public interest litigation and other fields, which won the project of self financing.
In 2020, the procuratorial research center of the people's Procuratorate will not only fully participate in the theoretical and practical research achievements of the procuratorial research center of the people's Procuratorate of China in 2020, but also the theoretical and practical research achievements of the procuratorial research center of Southeast University. Since its establishment, the research base of civil prosecutions of Southeast University has been committed to promoting the theoretical research and innovation of procuratorial work. It has carried out research from multiple angles and in all directions in combination with the major needs of civil prosecution reform. The subjects that Professor Yin Ji and Associate Professor Feng Yuqing participated in and presided over are forward-looking, innovative and applied theoretical research on civil prosecution, which has guidance and reference value for practice. We hope that this topic will obtain high-quality research results of procuratorial application theory in the future and make timely use of them.
Since the establishment of the law practice education center of our college, we have carried out practical cooperation with various procuratorates, courts and other judicial practice departments. As a bridge for effective communication between law schools and practical departments, the law practice education center is based on the combination of advanced theory and practice, and is committed to the theoretical research of legal practice innovation, the research and development of innovative application of legal practice, the landing of innovative scenes of legal practice and the cultivation of innovative talents of legal practice. The research project of procuratorial applied theory of the Supreme People's Procuratorate is set up for the procuratorial practical department, and is jointly presided over by practical experts and theoretical workers. This time, five teachers in our college participated in five procuratorial application theory research projects and provided theoretical support, which reflected the positive interaction between the theory and practice of law practice education center, and broke the institutional barriers between universities and society.
The Law School of Southeast University adheres to the principle of providing theoretical support for judicial practice with legal research and making contributions to legal research with judicial practice, striving to promote the development and improvement of the socialist legal system with Chinese characteristics. The project sponsored by the five teachers was approved by the Supreme People's Procuratorate procuratorial application theory research project in 2020, which further enhanced the influence of law school in the field of civil procuratorial theory research and teaching practice. The civil prosecution research base and law practice education center of Southeast University will further maintain a good situation of two-way communication and cooperation with practical departments, which will play a more important role in gathering the strength of all practical departments and promoting the improvement of civil procuratorial work and practical teaching system of law discipline.
